Let’s just go ahead and file this under “things I wish I’d had ages ago.” Maybe I should have put a spoiler alert before that announcement…but it’s the truth!

The Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap is great because it serves so many purposes.  I can pack along just one item to change into my workout clothes if I need to, protect my hands from the cement/mud/etc. when doing pushups/burpies/planks, and then the towel can go over my car seat for the drive home so I don’t get sweat and mud on the seat.  Hello my new hero!

So let’s break it down by category:

Transition Wrap

We’ve all found ourselves out and about wanting to go for a run but wearing the wrong clothes right? Then you have the struggle of trying to change in your car without anyone noticing you flashing them (because let’s face it, sports bras are not easy o put on!) or changing in a park bathroom..which is usually not a pleasant experience.  I decided to put my Orange Mud Wrap to the test when I drove to Dallas after work to go for a run.  I changed from my work clothes (including nylons for an added challenge) to my running clothes in a busy parking lot, downtown, near a major highway with no indecent exposure! Can I get an amen hallelujah?!

The Orange Mud Transition Wrap wraps around you and fastens securely with a plastic hook and a row of loops that let you tighten the wrap around yourself without worrying about it untucking.  I’m 5’11” so I need to change in two steps.  First I wrapped the towel around my waist to change the clothes on the lower half of my body, then under my armpits to change my shirt.  It worked like a charm and I was changed into running clothes in no time!

Workout Aid

Since I usually have the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap in my car, it makes the perfect workout aid.  I go to a running group on Mondays where we also do a workout afterward and it usually involves planks, burpees, push-ups or all of the above.  And we are usually on wet grass, a track, or pavement.  That’s not super comfortable on my hands, so I like being able to use the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap as a buffer between myself and the ground.

Seat Wrap

This is seriously so simple and yet is also the part that makes me absolelty fall in love with this towel.

There is a zipper that, when you zip it closed, creates a pocket to allow the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap to hang from your headrest and over the seat.  The pocket keeps it from slipping down when you sit on it.  I’m not going to show you a picture of the seats in my old car because they are genuinely that bad…but suffice it to say, my new car is probably really really glad it won’t be meeting a similar fate.  I live in the South and running means sweating. Profusely.  Having something between myself and the seat to keep the sweat off is priceless!

Overall: I am LOVING the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap and highly recommend it! It’s a lightweight and multifunctional tool that serves so many purposes with out being complicated. If you have questions about my review or experience please let me know!
