Anyone who knows me knows that food is pretty much my favorite thing. Before having a baby I never worried much about what I was eating and the impact it would have on my health. I’ve always been lucky enough to have a fast metabolism and running kept it going even better.
Having a baby has changed everything. Now my metabolism has slowed down and I’m constantly too busy or tired to cook healthy food and exercise consistently!
Luvo bundles are perfect for my situation. A big box of delicious (and healthy) frozen meals were delivered right to my house. Then when I needed a quick meal they were there waiting…which kept me from reaching for fast food or ramen/easy mac/etc. While having Luvo meals in my freezer didn’t magically give me the time to fit in a workout, they did help me at least keep my nutrition on track which is huge!
The Luvo bundle I received was the Italian Classics, and I loved every option included. The taste was great, the prep work was so easy (literally just 4 minutes in the microwave) and the mealsi were also easy to share with my little guy. That’s basically the winning trifecta in my book. Oliver loved the chicken meatballs in most of the meals and I felt good about sharing them with him.
Included in my bundle were Chicken Meatballs in Creamy Stroganoff Sauce (Charlie’s favorite), Chicken Meatballs in Garlic Wine Sauce, Chicken Meatballs in Tomato Basil Sauce, Chicken Meatballs in Creamy Pesto Sauce (my favorite), and Kale Ricotta Ravioli.
There were no bad options and now that I am running out I need to make a trip to the store to restock!
Most convenience foods cause you to sacrifice taste, nutritional value, or both. Luvo meals were not only something fast enough that I had time to eat them, they were options I could enjoy and feel good about eating.
