Hello 2018!

Happy New Year!!

I spent last night working and was sound asleep before midnight because I had to be up bright and early to get back to work this morning. I for one am sincerely hoping that the weather we have to start the year does not predict the weather for the rest of the year because it is WAY too cold out! It’s supposed to be back up to almost 70 on Sunday though…and that sounds much more reasonable!

So you do New Years resolutions? They never really work for me, but I do like to take New Years as an opportunity to think about my goals and intentions for the coming year.

This year my biggest fitness goal is to run 1000 miles in the year. Since I haven’t been running much, I am not setting monthly mileage goals. But by the end of the year I want to hit 1000 miles.

Running more also means I’ll be on social media more…no specific goals there but I’m looking forward to getting back to blogging!

That said I won’t be running today because I’m tired and frozen, but those first miles of the year are coming soon!!
